The 19th Nordic Security & Risk Management Forum is taking place for the nineteenth year in a row. During this time, more than 3,000 participants from more than ten countries have taken part in the forum. 400 experts from more than ten countries have shared their knowledge.

The aim of the forum is to raise awareness of the role of risk management and increase its importance in both the public and private sectors. The 19th forum is a long-standing tradition of bringing together representatives of public and private sectors to discuss over the most hot topics in field of security and risk management.

Forum will also be broadcasted online for those registered participants not able to travel to Tallinn.

In her daily work, Evelin combines a technical perspective, business objectives, and social responsibility. She believes it is important that connectivity services are not only fast and widely accessible, but also secure, reliable and essential to the functioning of modern society.

Jaanus Uiga is the deputy chancellor of the Ministry of Climate. His field of activity is energy and mineral resources.
Jaanus has previously worked in the private sector as an environmental manager, in the public sector in the field of energy, and in the third sector in the field of energy and green economy. He has also been a member of the management bodies of companies.
Jaanus has obtained a master's degree at the Estonian University of Life Sciences and the Estonian Business School.

Kalle Kilk has been the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Elering, the Estonian electricity and gas transmission system operator, since July 2023.
Kalle's career at Elering began in 1998. In 2007, he was appointed as a member of the management board responsible for the area of asset management, a position he held until being elected as the Chairman. Kalle holds a PhD in Power Engineering and Geotechnology from Tallinn University of Technology.
Under Kalle’s leadership, the project to disconnect the Baltic electricity system from the Russian grid and to synchronize it with the Continental European frequency area was successfully completed in Estonia in February 2025, after more than a decade of work.
In 2025, Kalle was awarded Finland’s high decoration – Knight of the Order of the Lion of Finland – in recognition of his contribution to Estonia’s energy sector and the strengthening of Finnish-Estonian relations.

Joonas Heiter is the Director General of the State Information System Authority (RIA), an agency responsible for centralized public sector ICT platforms and functioning also as the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-EE).
Joonas is experienced expert and manager in ICT sector, holding a Master’s Degree in Telecommunication from Tallinn University of Technology and a Master’s Degree in Management and Marketing from University of Tartu. His career includes significant management roles in private sector entities within the telecommunications industry.
In 2018 Joonas joined RIA as the Data Exchange Department Manager and in 2022 became a member of the management board as the Director of State Information System/ Deputy Director General focusing on digital services. In 2024 Joonas was appointed as the Director General of RIA.
Joonas Heiter's combined experience from the private and public sectors provides a valuable advantage in his role. His expertise lies in translating end-user needs into strategic service development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital services to both business customers and end-users, including citizens and entrepreneurs.
