Igors Kasjanovs is a Senior Economist at the Nordic Investment Bank, where he assesses the economic impact of investments across the Nordic and Baltic countries, with a particular focus on productivity, sustainability and the energy transition. Before joining NIB, he held senior economic roles at the Bank of Latvia and Latvia’s Ministry of Finance. He is also a member of Latvia’s Fiscal Discipline Council.
