Peter Arnevall is the Director of Rescue Services and Civil Protection at the Swedish Civil Defense and Resilience Agency, and was appointed to the position by the Swedish government. He previously served as the Director and Chief Fire Officer of Stockholm Fire Brigade (GSFB) for 7 years. He has for the last 18 years held a wide range of different positions within Uppsala Fire Brigade and the GSFB.
Before joining the Fire Brigade, he served within the Swedish Armed Forces at the Ranger Battalion and has done two tours overseas.
Mr. Arnevall has a Bachelor of Science within Fire protection engineering from Lund University, Faculty of Engineering.
