Tero Vauraste has more than 30 years of experience from Arctic, maritime, aerospace, logistics and security sectors in various Senior Executive positions. He has served as a commanding officer in the Finnish Navy and Coast Guard. He is a member of the DG Defis Space Expert Group and a board member of EARSC, European Association of Remote Sensing Companies.
In addition to the maritime officer degree, he has an MsC in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management from Leicester University.. He is working on his PhD in the Finnish Military University in the Space and Maritime domains within security of supply. He is a member of the Finnish Ministry of Defence Scientific Committee working Group Arctic and Space and he holds various positions of trust.
